Frequently asked questions
1) How much is the annual stipend?     $40,000 in the first year

2) Is health insurance provide?             Yes

3) Is travel provided for?                       Travel to the annual research retreat is covered.  Other travel will depend on the mentor. 

4) Are participants to the CCNY RAMP program limited to CCNY graduates?  

 

The CCNY RAMP program is open any US citizen or permanent resident with a bachelors degree in an affiliated discipline.

 

5) Can a student currently enrolled in a Master's degree program participate in the RAMP program?  

 

RAMP students will work full-time doing mentored research and undertaking professional development activities. The NSF guidelines for this program preclude concurrent registration as degree-seeking students as well as enrollment in academic courses.
